4 Ways to Make Your Life Easier for the Rest of 2025

Keep reading this post to learn:

  • My fall capsule wardrobe strategy to avoid decision fatigue

  • A simple dinner rhythm that takes the stress out of meal planning

  • My go-to Notion template for seasonal memory making

  • Why I’m doing my Yearly Vision Meeting early this year (and how you can too!)

Let’s be so real, besides the cute, crunchy leaves and the pumpkin spice of it all, the final months of the year can feel like a marathon. Between holiday plans, school events, work deadlines, and all the things we want to do (and think we should do), it’s easy to go into December running on empty.

But I’ve decided I want this year to feel different. I’m done with the frantic finish-line energy. Instead, I’m putting simple systems in place now so I can actually enjoy the rest of the year, and go into 2026 feeling clear and confident.

If you’re reading this like, “Umm, yes, I’d like to copy and paste that into my life, too”…here are 4 things I’m doing to make life way easier (and more enjoyable) for the rest of 2025:

01: I Built a Fall Capsule Wardrobe

I’m all about decision fatigue prevention, and a simplified wardrobe makes mornings a lot easier. So, I created a mix-and-match fall capsule with comfy, cute pieces I love wearing. No more standing in my closet stressed out while a toddler asks for snacks (heh 🥲).

💡 Pro tip: Start a “Fall Capsule Wardrobe” Pinterest board with 5-10 outfit ideas that reflect your personal style. Then take inventory of what you have vs. what you need to put it together…so you feel put together. Get it?

03: Create a Weekly Dinner Menu

I’ve finally cracked the dinner planning code, and (wouldn’t ya know it) it’s all about rhythm, not reinventing the wheel every week! We have set meal themes (like Taco Tuesday or Crockpot Friday), which gives just enough structure without being boring.

Here’s an example of our current weekly dinner menu rotation:

Monday: Protein & veggies night 🍲
Tuesday: Taco Tuesday — bowls or homemade “crunchwraps” 🌮
Wednesday: Salad night 🥗
Thursday: Pizza 🍕 (we order in!)
Friday: Bowl night (ex: burger bowls 🍔)
Saturday & Sunday: We eat based on vibes! Takeout or leftovers from the week.

03: Steal My ‘Notion Seasonal Memories’ Template Idea

I want to be in the memories, not scrambling to make them happen. Ya know what I mean? This template helps me map out ideas for festive fun, from cozy movie nights to pumpkin patch visits, while making sure our calendar isn’t overloaded.

Here’s how it works:

In Notion, I created a running list of things I want to do for each of the holiday months. So basically, like a pre-planned events template that I call my “Family Traditions” list.

🍂 Some of the things on my family traditions pre-planned events template for October: Creatures of the Night at the zoo, fall festival day, movie watching at our local pumpkin patch, trunk or treat at church, pumpkin carving night, trick or treating on Halloween

04: Do Your Yearly Vision Planning Meeting Early

I usually wait until late December, but this year I’m giving myself more space to dream instead of just reacting. It’s so freeing! I’ll be spending a few quiet mornings in October reflecting on what worked in 2025 and setting intentions for 2026, before the holidays begin.

And wouldn’t you know it? The 2026 Weekly Peacefully Productive Planner™️ walks me through every step: reflecting on the past year, setting goals, building my vision board, and organizing my recurring tasks.
